About the Event
This 3.5 hour Makaton workshop touches on understanding learning differences, looks at communication needs, and teaches the signs and symbols for:
• 36 everyday concepts (including hello, to eat, to drink, toilet, help)
• 46 concepts all about general wellbeing (including friend, family, emotions, places, activities)
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
• Understand the key reasons and benefits of using Makaton
• Have the skills and confidence to apply Makaton in everyday life
